- Job specifications are read and interpreted.
- WHS requirements, including personal protection needs, are observed throughout the work.
- Materials are selected and inspected for quality.
- Hand, power tooling and safety equipment are identified and checked for use.
- Procedures are determined to minimise waste time.
- Procedures are identified for maximising energy efficiency while completing the job.
- Prepare spray booth and drying equipment
- Information is accessed and interpreted from manufacturer/component supplier specifications.
- Protective clothing and equipment appropriate to preparation process are used.
- Preparation, maintenance and adjustment of spray booth and drying equipment conforms to requirements of manufacturer/component supplier specifications.
- Drying equipment is prepared without causing damage to any component or system.
- Preparation activities are carried out according to industry regulations/guidelines, WHS legislation, and enterprise procedures/policies.
- Clean up work area and maintain equipment
- Material that can be reused is collected and stored.
- Waste and scrap is removed following workplace procedure.
- Equipment and work area are cleaned and inspected for serviceable condition in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Unserviceable equipment is tagged and faults identified in accordance with workplace procedures.
- Operator maintenance is completed in accordance with manufacturer/component supplier specifications and worksite procedures.
- Tooling is maintained in accordance with workplace procedures.
